Two months have RuneScape Gold since the Squeal of Fortune was released. We wanted to address some of players' concerns, dispel doubts regarding the popularity of this update, explain the motivations behind it, and most importantly, why it will be here to stay.
First of all, thank you for your feedback about the Squeal of Fortune Updates. We designed the Squeal of Fortune from the beginning to be a lighthearted and fun feature to RuneScape, giving players a new way to earn free rewards each day they sign into RuneScape. Like other updates, members receive additional benefits such as an increase in free spins each day. We have also modified it since the launch date to offer all of our players more opportunities to earn Squeal Spins.
As with all the content we add in RuneScape we took extra care to ensure the Squeal of Fortune would improve the experience of gaming and not detract from the things that make RuneScape special for millions of gamers every day. We are very proud to have achieved both of our priorities.
We are aware that some members of the community may have mixed feelings regarding the Squeal of Fortune and, whilst we spend a great deal of effort and time to create game experiences that resonate with the majority of our players, the reality is due to the epic scale of our community, it is impossible to please all our players all of the time despite desperately trying.
Our policy is to do the right thing to ensure the longevity of the game. This is something that many veteran players be aware of. I have done this consistently throughout time, regardless of the initial discomfort. The bot nuke was an excellent example. I can confidently affirm that we have been rewarded for taking the right steps over the long term. In fact the game is getting better each year.
All feedback received for updates and how the community interacts with them is important to us. We have been reading your posts on the forums and listened to your suggestions. Your feedback has inspired us to make some adjustments to the system of Squeal of Fortune. We have added new ways to earn additional spins in-game and introduced additional payment protection to all in-game purchases once we had received notification of any issues.
Naturally the team and I are both sad that some players are upset about free spins and some also dislike the option to also purchase additional spins, however the truth is that 90% of our members are enjoying the Squeal of Fortune on a daily basis and over 70 percent of our players who are free utilise the Squeal of Fortune daily too which makes it one of the most adored content release to date. Our players are still taking advantage of the many opportunities to earn extra spins. It's sure to be here for a long time.
The system's design ensures that players cannot be concerned about gambling, RWT'ing or using the Squeal of Fortune for their own financial gain. While we have witnessed a lot of players benefit from the new rewards, and many choosing to purchase extra spins, we have not seen any illegal activity with the system, despite watching it extremely closely.
Looking forward, RuneScape continues to grow more than ever, both in terms of innovative compelling content as well as the scale of the community. The launch of The Runespan on Monday was an important improvement in graphics performance which saw a significant portion of the community experience over a 100 percent increase in frame rates for games. It should be evident that we're getting ready for the best year of content ever... and even a complete overhaul of the combat system later this summer!
We'll be sharing more information about this topic in the near future. Be sure to check this website regularly. We appreciate your reading and hope you have lots of enjoyment.
Sal's Realm Clan Citadel. We are pleased to be able to welcome you to our clan citadel. This page provides information on the current resources we have and objectives, as well as the past and present construction projects. This weekly poll allows you, as a member of the community, to cast your decide on the design and appearance of the citadel. Comment, suggest, or photos of your clanmates in the private rooms of your meeting.
You can also post a screenshot of your weekly donations here. Building tick on Tuesday at 10 AM GMT The poll. You can alter the day on which the build tick occurs (instead Tuesdays). It occurred to me that if we wanted to modify the build tick at any point in time, it would be best to do so right after tier 7. This is what I am thinking:
It might be nice to have a weekend build tick. For those who wish to limit their time on a Friday or Saturday have a Friday/Saturday and people who prefer to cap first will have the same opening. For those who are at a time that is between (such as myself) are free to take whatever time they'd like during the week. This is the way it will look to move the tick.
When you move the tick, you'll be charged a weeks worth of maintenance, but no upgrades are built. The next time that day (the one you're moving the tick to) comes around after one week it will be back as normal, and with the start of the new day.
As this would be a huge decision that affects everyone, it is essential that everyone has a say. I put up a series of poll questions to see the general feeling about it, and from there devise a course of action with the staff/community/people.
What do these resources accomplish? Maintenance, as usual for all of our items. Tier 7!!! Tier 7 this week, no problem. Recent Updates. Not last week. All resources go to upkeep and maintenance of tier 7.
Cosmetic Enhancements. We now have Tier 7 and can work on them again. At present, we're working on three different goals at the same time. I have a method to put up decorative items when we've completed the goals so the resources will always have something to go into. We are currently working on a large hedge. It is quite expensive however it will look great. The hedge will be in the North-West at the mines as well as the kiln. We are also making shields for the second floor of the keep close to the party room. Finally, we are also working on re-shaping the benches that are in the room for parties to be a cloth-covered overflow item.
Skills are simple to attain an 99% in any skill. Before you get all hysterical about how much time it takes, I want to tell you. I've been playing Scape from late 2004. In late 2007 I reached 99 cooking as a free-to play player. It was a huge accomplishment for me. In the past, there weren't skill capes. It was a lot of work, and it required a lot of grinding. Since then, I've been able to score two 99s.
This isn't all I want to talk about. I'm looking for your opinions. Do you think that getting 99 in any skill is worth your time? Is it worth the skill cape, or is it just for personal fame? Or the personal satisfaction that comes with 99.
When I was an early miner, I used to get my cape untrimmed from the grinding of granite ore for quite a while. I was proud to wear it with pride. In the past, capes with skill were rare. E.g. E.g.
Although the RuneScape Gold 2007 of milestone caps and capes to celebrate achievements has made it more common, skillcapes really aren't any more unique. They are only used when you're advancing. However, some skills require better capes (ardougne cape to zmi/thieving, etc.). People are often looked down upon for wearing these capes as they battle.
